Sandra, the heart behind Simple Coffeenated, is passionate about serving great-tasting, high-quality food with a personal touch.
Inspired by her love for good coffee, fresh ingredients, and creating spaces where people feel welcome, she set out to build more than just a café. Simple Coffeenated is a reflection of her belief that great food and genuine service can brighten anyone’s day, especially in a busy working environment.
“From a young age, I knew I wanted to run my own place, somewhere that reflected my style, values, and love for food.”
Working in different food businesses gave me that constant feeling that one day, I’d do it my way.
In my early twenties, I even applied for a startup grant to open a cosy little tea room with shisha, cushions, and carpets, a space where people could truly unwind.
Thankfully, the plan didn’t go ahead. At the time, I was far too young, and in hindsight, that rejection was a blessing. It gave me the push to pack my bags and move to the UK, a decision that changed everything!
Since then, I’ve explored new cuisines, travelled, learned, and grown, not just in food, but in the experience of running a business that feels like home.
I’ve always loved the idea of people walking into a space and feeling like they’re visiting a friend, not just grabbing a quick bite. After years of working for others, I developed a strong desire to be the kind of boss I never had — supportive, empowering, and focused on creating a positive environment where people can thrive.
